| 5/2024 | International meeting of Food and Agriculture Organization (F.A.O.) network themed «Food Production Management in soils with high salinity» | United Nations and Geography and History Department of the University of Valencia | Dr. Georgios Tsikalakis voluntarily participated in the international meeting of the Food and Agriculture Organization (F.A.O.) network. He intervened twice regarding the need to lobby the European Commission for a common methodology on soil salinity measurement thresholds and on changing the action framework in large water management projects by public stakeholders to address the impacts of the climate crisis. |
