Postgraduate Programs
The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Science at the Hellenic Mediterranean University, through its research laboratories, offers students the opportunity to continue their studies at the Master’s level.
Job Market
The employment rate of the department’s graduates in the job market is particularly high. A significant percentage of graduates (over 85%) are employed in the private sector in positions related to their field of study.
The department’s research activities focus on the areas of Applied Dietetics, Body Composition, Quality Control & Food Safety, Food Preparation Methods, as well as Ergometry & Statistical Analysis of Nutritional and Dietetic Data.

Our study programs
Undergraduate studies
DURATION: 4 YEARS
Students gain theoretical knowledge and technical training in the fields covered by the Department. They also develop oral and written communication skills as well as group collaboration skills.
Master’s Degree Programs
DURATION: 2 YEARS
The Department of Nutrition & Dietetics, in addition to the main degree, also offers its students the possibility to continue their studies at postgraduate level.
Doctoral (Ph.D.) Programs
MINIMUM DURATION: 3 YEARS
The Doctoral (Ph.D.) Study Programs of the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics of the Hellenic Mediterranean University aim to promote original scientific research and lead to the acquisition of a Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree.
