Committees of the Department

In order to operate more efficiently, the Department has set up a number of committees. These consist of the members of the Department and are summarized below:

 

IET (Internal Evaluation Team)

  1. Dr. G.A. Fragkiadaki, Associate Professor of the Department, Chairman of the Committee
  2. Dr. V. Zafeiropoulos, Professor of the Department, member
  3. Dr. A. Markaki, Assistant Professor of the Department, member

Dr. Fragkiadakis is active in the field of Nutrition, Metabolism, and Food Quality.

Dr. Zafeiropoulos is active in the field of Human Body Composition, Ergometry for Dietitians, Physics, as well as in the general field of Spectroscopy – Physical Chemistry.

Lastly, Dr. Markaki is active in the field of Clinical Nutrition, Applied Dietetics, and Nutrition of Kidney Patients.

The combined work of these three (3) permanent Teaching and Research Staff members covers a wide range of topics within the thematic scope of the Department, and allows for the expression of opinions and judgments, thus meeting the requirements of the Authority for Quality Assurance and Certification in Higher Education.
